Creation & Purpose:
Coach On Deck© was created by Saunda McDaniel, CFE, a seasoned franchise owner and leader with over 28 years of experience in franchising. Throughout her career, Saunda has built teams, developed managers, led weekly meetings, and cultivated strong company cultures inside real, high-performing businesses. Across decades of leadership, one challenge remained consistent at every level: leaders cared deeply about their people, but often lacked a simple, repeatable structure to develop them consistently.
After nearly three decades in franchising, Saunda turned that real-world experience into a tangible leadership tool. Coach on Deck© was created to bring clarity, consistency, and purpose into weekly meetings and everyday leadership conversations.
The deck was brought to life in partnership with her daughter, Grace Kitchen, who helped transform Saunda’s leadership experience into a modern, accessible brand and product. Grace led the creative direction, messaging, structure, and design to ensure the deck connects with today’s business owners, managers, and franchise leaders in a clear, practical way. Together, they built a leadership system that blends generational experience with modern execution.
